Pair of pen and ink drawings on paper, 1 x billy goat and goat standing on rocks, 1 x resting goats, together in a passe-partout with two cut-outs, slightly stained, each sheet approx. 10 x 14.5 cm, with passe-partout approx. 44 x 30 cm , Dahl, together with his friend Caspar David Friedrich, is considered one of the outstanding representatives of Dresden Romanticism. Both painter friends lived together in a house on the left bank of the Elbe.
