Wood, carved in three-quarters of a round, flattened and hollowed out on the back, multicolored and gold-plated, St. Nicholas standing in the contrapposto, as a bishop in a liturgical robe with web and compression folds as well as miter and bishop's crosier, holding a book with three gold nuggets in his right hand, original condition with minor stress cracks and color flaking, H approx. 77.5 cm, from the circle of the carver Niklaus Weckmann, active in Ulm around 1500
