Wood, painted and clear varnished, pair of peasants, solid, rounded block of wood with naïve painting, rural scene running around the lower edge, unsigned, in lead on the underside, former selling price 138 (Mark), overall good condition, H approx. 21.5 cm, probably 1980s, 1957-63 at the HBK Dresden, among others with Hans Theo Richter, from 1963 freelance in Meißen, 1966-69 master student with Richter at the Academy of Arts in Berlin, 1974-88 teaching position at the HS Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, until 2008 numerous exhibitions in Germany and Austria
