Serpentine in dark green coloring, cut and polished, reduced copy of the monumental statue created by Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475-1564) between 1513-15, the 2.35 m high original is part of the funerary monument for Pope Julius II in the church of San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome, Moses dressed as a seated figure in a tunic, the right hand supporting the tablet of the law or gripping the long beard with the left hand, the prophet's horns are missing, the flat base plate is structured (the edges are slightly damaged), total height approx. 27 cm , around 1900
