U 149, seated child with picture book (scenes from the Struwwelpeter), colored painting, slightly restored, overall nice condition, height approx. 11 cm, molding from the original period around/after 1905; Konrad Hentschel (1872-1907), painter, designer and sculptor, studied at the art academies in Munich and Dresden, in the manufactory since 1889, one of the leading Art Nouveau artists in Meissen, designed numerous tableware shapes, his creations of figures culminated in a series of 12 children playing
