Woodcut, 6 sheets for Sholem Alejchem Tewje the milkman, signed in lead below and dated 1958-60, each sheet approx. 49 x 39 cm, framed behind glass in a total of 5 frames, graphic artist and sculptor, 1946 training as a sculptor with the sculptor Burkhard Ebe, 1947-50 apprenticeship as a sculptor with Herbert Volwahsen in Dresden, 1950 admission to the Association of Visual Artists in Germany, Naumann lived and worked as a freelance artist in the Loschwitzer Künstlerhaus from 1950, 1994 moved to Dittersbach to the Künstlerhaus Hofmannsches Gut, with works in the Salomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, in the Galerie Neue Meister, in the Kupferstichkabinett and in the Skulpturensammlung in Dresden
