Chalk lithograph, D(as) Gärtchen, young family in the garden, monogrammed MS lower left in the print, also signed in lead under the print, dated 1935 and titled, signs of age (among other things browned, min. stained), sheet approx. 50 x 37, 5 cm, 1898-1904 studied at the painting school for women in Dresden, among others with Robert Sterl, Wilhelm Georg Ritter, Anton Pepino and Wilhelm Claudius, since 1884 first exhibitions in Chemnitz, sponsored by the doctor and collector A. Thiele, from 1907 member of the Artist group Chemnitz, 1908 student at the painting school in Munich with Albert Weisgerber, in the following years head of her own painting school, after 1933 classification of her works as degenerate art, despite being almost completely blind, artistically active until the end of her life
