Pastel drawing, masked society, signed and dated 1968 lower left, mounted on light cardboard and titled there in lead, sheet approx. 48.5 x 65 cm, graphic artist and sculptor, 1946 training as a sculptor with the sculptor Burkhard Ebe, 1947-50 sculptor apprenticeship with Herbert Volwahsen in Dresden, 1950 admission to the association of visual artists in Germany, Naumann lived and worked from 1950 as a freelance artist in the Loschwitzer Künstlerhaus, 1994 moved to Dittersbach in the Künstlerhaus Hofmannsches Gut, with works in the Salomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, in the Represented in the New Masters Gallery, in the Print Room and in the Sculpture Collection in Dresden
