Watercolour, On the Moselle, summery river landscape, signed and dated (19)41 lower right, framed behind glass in a passe-partout, rs. Artist's address and title on the frame, slightly foxing, image section approx. 18 x 28 cm, with frame approx. 42 x 49 cm, apprenticeship as a textile pattern draftsman in Chemnitz, from 1904-08 studied at the Dresden School of Applied Arts, then from 1910-14 at the Dresden Art Academy with Eugen Bracht and Gotthardt Kuehl, 1944 studio fire and loss of parts of his work, mainly active as a landscape painter in Saxony, known as a painter of the Lößnitz
