It was built in 2013 on the site of a previous building that was erected there around 1830 by Christoph Glaser from Halbmeil not far from Joachimsthaler Straße (...). The old chapel was leveled in 1953 as part of the demolition of the entire border town of Halbmeil. The bricks left in place were reused for the reconstruction of the chapel (...) in 2013.
