Watercolor and colored chalk on firm paper, a seated female nude with her arms crossed behind her head, signed and dated (19)58 lower right, overall in good condition with minor signs of age, behind glass framed in a passe-partout, sheet section approx. 64 x 45.5 cm , 1921-26 work as a locksmith, 1926 studied at the Dresden Art Academy with R. Müller and H. Dittrich, 1929-30 studied with Otto Dix and Georg Lührig, 1930 member of the ASSO Dresden and the Dresden Secession 1932, 1940-47 soldier and French prisoner of war, from 1947 based in Börnchen again, 1972 National Prize of the GDR
