Oil/hardboard, meadow flowers, signed lower left, framed, approx. 40 x 36 cm, with frame (min. damaged) approx. 46 x 41 cm, the artist first received graphic lessons from her father, a lithographer, then studied at at the Hanau Art Academy in the areas of drawing patterns and lettering, painting flowers and drawing and copying landscapes, worked in Frankfurt from 1900-03 as a draftsman, moved to Dresden in 1908, took lessons there with Georg Gelbke and Willy Kriegel, worked in Chemnitz from 1935, since the 1920s represented at art exhibitions in Dresden, Stuttgart, Munich, Leipzig, Frankfurt/Main and Chemnitz, active in paintings, graphics, book illustrations and porcelain painting, known as Blumen-Minni
