Q 180 b, barefoot, forward-leaning young lady in antique robe throwing a golden ball, profiled round base with tree support and applied ivy tendril, painted in colour, equipped with gold, 3 leaves damaged, throwing hand damaged, otherwise in good condition, H approx. 35, 5 cm, Pfeiffer period 1924-34; Walter Schott (1861-1938), sculptor and painter, studied at the Art Academy in Berlin and worked as a professor from 1903. In addition to the Meissner Manufactory, he also supplied KPM Berlin and Rosenthal with figure models; In the present figure, Schott combines typical elements of Art Nouveau sculpture: the sensuous radiance of the female body, the flowing lines of the limbs and robe, and the delicate color scheme
