Manufacturer: Knuchel und Kahl, Zurich, in the Biedermeier style, beech, swinging square legs, trapezoidal seat, highly upholstered, red cover fabric fixed with decorative nails, slightly concave backrest with pointed oval decorative element, manufacturer's label on the underside, normal signs of wear, seat height approx. 44 cm, backrest H approx. 90 cm, 1967. The Swiss furniture company Knuchel und Kahl created numerous interiors for private and commercial buildings, hotels and administration buildings. The company's headquarters have been in Zurich since the late 19th century.
