Meissen manufactory, underglaze blue sword mark on the base, the watch is unmarked, model by JJ Kaendler and JF Eberlein 1742 (model no. 399), finely decorated rocaille case crowned by Cupid and Flora with a flower garland, the enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, under the dial and Fields with idyllic park scenes on the sides, striking mechanism on the bell unchecked, on a profiled stepped base with woodcut flowers and insects, painted in colour, gilding partially rubbed, plastic flower pads partially damaged, old rest., but overall beautifully preserved, total H approx .49 cm, about 1750-70
