Oil pastel on lithograph, seated female nude, inscribed in lead under the print, signed and dated (19)81/86, signs of age (slightly creased), image approx. 25 x 21.5 cm, sheet approx. 39.5 x 36, 5 cm, 1950-54 studied at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle/S., married to the ceramist Gertraud Degen (1929-2002), from 1956 member of the VBK, from 1969 first lithographic printing attempts, from 1978-91 own printing workshop together with Uwe Pfeifer, Fotis Zaprasis and Gerd Weickardt, from 1991 lecturer and later professor for painting at Burg Giebichenstein
