Pfeiffer to the Berlin Academy of Arts after studying at the Porcelain design introduced. After the first orders for the Schwarzburg workshops for porcelain art and from 1912 for the Meissner manufactory, Pfeiffer succeeded in binding Scheurich firmly to the Meissner manufactory from 1918.
