large breast star 2nd class, silver, partly gilded, enameled, in a beautiful, fine, brilliant local production quality, on the back Turkish characters with a star, D approx. 81 mm, approx. 64.79 g, nice condition for its age, the order was donated by Sultan Abdülaziz upon his accession to the throne in 1861, it was awarded to honor important services to the Ottoman Empire: deserving military personnel, civil servants, scientists and artists.
