Sculpture, oak wood, staff statuettes (1995), large object worked with various tools from trunk parts and boards placed together in a cross shape, blackened, mounted on stainless steel plate, nice condition with only minor chipping on the edges, approx. 235 x 80 x 50 cm, the plate approx. 40 x 40 cm, exhibited in the Beethovenstraße gallery in Düsseldorf in 1995, illustrated in: Hans Brockhage: Handling wood, Schwarzenberg 2004, Chapter Individual and Many, fig Turner, then from 1947-52 studied at the HbK Dresden with Mart Stam and Marianne Brandt, with whom he was friends until their death, development of the rocking wagon (awarded in 1957 and 1960), 1952-55 work at the Institute for Applied Arts Berlin, then freelance in Schwarzenberg, 1967-77 lecturer at the HS Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, from 1968 first sculptural works in H wood and concrete as well as several years of cooperation with the VEB Kunstgewerbewerkstätten Olbernhau, 1971 first exhibition in the Grassi-Museum Leipzig (together with T.
