Sculpture, oak wood, untitled (1991), block-like object worked with various tools from a trunk, abstract, slightly bent figure representation, blackened, firmly mounted on oak wood base, nice condition, total height approx. 116 x 66 x 58 cm, sculptor and designer, After military service and being seriously wounded, from 1945 apprenticeship as a wood sculptor and turner, then from 1947-52 studies at the HbK Dresden with Mart Stam and Marianne Brandt, with whom he was friends until their death, development of the swing wagon (1957 and 1960 awards ), 1952-55 work at the Institute for Applied Arts Berlin, then freelance in Schwarzenberg, 1967-77 lecturer at the HS Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, from 1968 first sculptural works in wood and concrete as well as several years of cooperation with the VEB Kunstgewerbewerkstätten Olbernhau, 1971 first exhibition in the Grassi Museum in Leipzig (together with T.
