Watercolour, forest path in the mountains (around 1935), rising path surrounded by trees with figures, signed lower right, old mounted in a simple passe-partout, slight signs of age, sheet approx. 45 x 31 cm, with passe-partout approx. 54 x 40 cm, 1898- 1904 studies at the painting school for women in Dresden, among others with Robert Sterl, Wilhelm Georg Ritter, Anton Pepino and Wilhelm Claudius, since 1884 first exhibitions in Chemnitz, sponsored by the doctor and collector A. Thiele, from 1907 member of the Chemnitz artists' group, 1908 student at the painting school in Munich with Albert Weisgerber, in the following years head of his own painting school, after 1933 classification of her works as degenerate art, despite being almost completely blind, artistically active until the end of her life
