Meissen manufactory, unmarked, model by JJ Kaendler and JF Eberlein 1742 (model no. 399), finely decorated rocaille case crowned by a cupid and flora with a flower garland, the enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, under the dial and on the sides fields with idyllic park scenes , striking mechanism on the bell unchecked, painted in colour, gilding partly rubbed, plastic flower supports partly damaged, old restoration, but overall beautifully preserved, height approx. 39 cm, around 1750-70
