Large-format woodcut, The Return from the Hunt, from the Paradise Sonata cycle (1917-20), monogrammed in the print, signed in lead on the right below the depiction, framed behind glass in the passe-partout (min. dam.), minor signs of age (among other things, evenly browned ), representation approx. 78 x 52 cm, with frame approx. 101 x 71 cm, is considered to be one of the founders of Czech modernism, from 1910 professor at the Art Academy in Prague, 1945 honorary title as national artist, in addition to painting and graphic design of two glass windows in Vitus Cathedral in Prague
