Meissen, sword mark, 1st choice, model by Robert Ockelmann, model no. T 185, nude with mirror, female nude lying on a chaise longue holding a rose and a mirror, subtly painted, mirror is missing, the base is slightly damaged, otherwise in good condition, L approx. 34 cm, Pfeiffer period 1924-34. Ockelmann depicts the nude with Venus-like beauty and self-forgotten contemplation, as had become fashionable in the 19th century in odalisque subjects.
