Pair of sculptures, oak wood, dance (1989), two-part large object processed with various tools, abstract depiction of two dancers, each mounted on a stainless steel plate, traces of weathering due to outdoor installation, slightly chipped edges, H approx. 240 cm or 225 cm, reproduced several times in Hans Brockhage. Sculptures 1985-1990, ed. from the Beethovenstraße Gallery in Düsseldorf in 1990, the pair of sculptures was exhibited at the Center dAction Culturelle Belfort (France), sculptor and designer, after military service and being seriously wounded, from 1945 apprenticeship as a wood sculptor and turner, then from 1947-52 studies at the HbK Dresden, among others with Mart Stam and Marianne Brandt, with whom he was friends until her death, development of the rocking car (1957 and 1960 awards), 1952-55 work at the Institute for Applied Arts Berlin, then freelance in Schwarzenberg, 1967-77 lecturer at the HS Giebichenstein Castle in Halle, from 1968 first sculptural works in wood and concrete as well as several years of cooperation with the VEB Kunstgewerbewerkstätten Olbernhau, 1971 first exhibition in the Grassi Museum Leipzig (together with T.
