Watercolor on postcard from the GDR, oT, signed top left, dated (19)84 bottom right, on the reverse standard imprint with a 10-Pfennig stamp in green, there also signed and inscribed, framed in the passe-partout behind glass, sheet approx. 14 5 x 10.5 cm, with frame approx. 51 x 41 cm, after an apprenticeship as a textile pattern draftsman 1952-57 studied at the HBK Dresden with Hans Theo Richter and Max Schwimmer, 1958-59 master student at the Academy of Arts of the GDR, since 1960 freelance in Berlin, from 1980 lecturer for painting and graphics at the KHS Berlin-Weißensee, 1992-2000 professorship ibid., 2009 artist in residence at the Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop // GDR art
