Bronze, dark patina, two-piece model for a monument, rose upright, cast after the artist's original wooden models, on a polished steel base (1 x mounted, 1 x loosely attached), this side stamped Atelier Hans Brockhage and numbered 1-8, edition by the studio of Hans Brockhage in Schwarzenberg/Erzgebirge, H with base approx. 13 cm, L approx. 20 cm, Hans Brockhage created models in wood for construction-related or public space orders, which should make his idea understandable to the client. The order was then executed in full format in wood. Atelier Brockhage posthumously cast some of these wooden models in bronze in an extremely limited series. The texture of the wood and the idea of the composition can be experienced in an impressive way in this small format and are of great durability thanks to the bronze cast. The model presented here was slightly modified in oak and stainless steel and stood as a fountain in the Karl-Marx-Städter Heckert area in the 1980s. Today the so-called bog oak fountain is located at Chemnitz Falkeplatz. // Saxon artists
