Charcoal drawing on tempera, lying female nude, behind passe-partout and glass in the frame, signs of age, among other things, sheet browned, marginal area slightly creased, traces of attachment, sheet section approx. 43.5 x 64.5 cm, with frame approx. 68 x 89.5 cm, in the manner of Max Schwimmer (1895 Leipzig - 1960 ibid.), 1920-23 studied art history and philosophy at the University of Leipzig, 1925-33 press spokesman and critic at the Leipziger Volkszeitung, 1946-51 professor at the HGBK Leipzig as well as pro-rector and director the graphics department, 1951-60 professor at the HfBK Dresden, Max Schwimmer was a teacher of Max Uhlig, Gerhard Kettner, Herta Günther, Bernhard Heisig and many more
