Inscribed and artist's address, numbered "24", framed in a wooden strip, approx. 52 x 41 cm, with frame approx. 57 x 46 cm, the artist received drawing lessons from Simonson Castelli and Georg Oehme in Dresden, 1926-30 studied at the Dresdner Art academy with Richard Müller, Hermann Dittrich, Ferdinand Dorsch and Max Feldbauer, 1945 loss of a large part of the work through war destruction, committed to Dresden late impressionism
