Oil/canvas, "At the bay", a woman and a couple between maritime pines on the Baltic Sea beach, signed and dated 1935 lower right, gold-colored profile frame (damaged), minor signs of age (canvas rested in places), approx. 37 x 48 cm, with frame approx. 46.5 x 57 cm, figure and landscape painter, studied in Königsberg, Munich and Weimar, from 1912-22 resident in Berlin, then in Ahrenshop, member of the Free Secession and the artist colony of Max Pechstein in Nidden, 1929-44 chair in Königsberg, was considered degenerate in the Third Reich
