Oil/cardboard, portrait of a woman, shoulder piece of a lady with a hat in an impressive manner, rs. inscribed "Frau Bertha Weber-Herber, born January 21, 1872, painted by Johannes Weber, Zurich", monogrammed lower right and dated 1911, gold-colored ornamented frame, slight signs of age, approx. 40 x 32 cm, with frame approx. 55 x 45 cm, painter and draftsman, 1886-90 studied at the Zurich School of Applied Arts, 1890-92 at the Paris School of Applied Arts and the Colarossi Academy ibid., based in Zurich again since 1906, regularly exhibiting at the Zurich Art Exhibition since 1909
