Japan (Akito), six-part stacking vessel made of cylindrical bowls and a matching lid with a metal ring, the surfaces decorated with landscapes and figures in subtle tones, several times inscribed and signed hand painting, under 2 bases remains of a wax seal, signs of age, H approx. 22 cm, probably early 19th century, the traditional dishes for the Japanese New Year are served in the Jubako.
