Silver 900, marked "W. Stoll", driven and hammered by hand by the well-known Leipzig master silversmith Willi Stoll (1907-1989), marmoted surface, consisting of: mocha pot, cream jug, sugar bowl and tray, conical wall in the middle with a waisted band, slightly curved Insert lid, conical knobs and angular handles made of Macassar ebony, plus a round tray with a slightly flared edge and side handles, minor signs of age and wear, jug height approx. 18 cm, tray diameter approx. 22 cm, total weight approx. 944 g , Leipzig, probably from/after 1933, cf.: Dresden State Art Collections, Museum of Applied Arts, Stoll had learned the trade of steel engraver in Pforzheim and then attended the arts and crafts school there until 1928. He was a traditional craftsman and all his quality work was done without the help of machines. Among others, he manufactured according to designs by Marianne Brandt and worked for Lutz & Weiß, Pforzheim, Paul Telge, Berlin and Ernst Treusch, Leipzig.
