Watercolour, oT, harlequin, signed and dated (19)85 in lead lower right, behind passe-partout, sheet section approx. 50 x 37 cm, with passe-partout approx. 70 x 50 cm, 1941 student of Alfred particles at the art academy in Königsberg, 1946- 50 studied at the Weimar HS, influenced by Max Pechstein, Erich Heckel and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, among others, from 1950 master student with Otto Herbig, then lecturer for color design and life drawing at the Weimar HS, from 1954 he worked as a freelance painter and graphic artist in his Hometown Gersdorf, numerous honors, prizes and exhibitions in Saxony and beyond
