Pair of landscape paintings, oil/canvas, Bohemian-Erzgebirge landscapes with a view of the cross on the church, remains of a signature (J. Fie...?) and dated "1856.57" lower left, the second painting shows a group of waiting churchgoers in front of an approaching procession , in the background castle ruins, both paintings with old sticky notes from 1903 on the reverse, as well as a quote from the Bible from Lucas 24.29 "Lord stay with us, because it is evening", signs of age, both in profiled cassette frames, approx. 83 x 69 cm, with Framing approx. 100 x 88 cm, Fiebiger was a landscape painter and watercolourist, studied at the Academy in Dresden, traveled to Switzerland, Lake Constance, the Baltic Sea, Bohemia and his homeland of Saxony
