Watercolour, landscape in the Alps, titled "Blick von der Grigna" on the reverse, signed in lead lower right, inscribed "Blick von der Grigna Settentrionale 2410 m" on the left and dated July 26, 1925, slight signs of age, sheet approx. 32 x 48 cm, 1908-11 studied painting and graphics in Dresden, then settled in Chemnitz, first worked as a commercial artist, then devoted himself to painting, after 1930 increasingly active as a writer, created the award-winning official celebratory card for the Chemnitz town hall consecration in 1911
