Drypoint etching, "Der Kutscher", signed in lead on the right under the print and inscribed on the left, monogrammed and dated (19)95 in the print, verso dedication by the artist, signs of age (including 2 x tears in the edge area, creases), sheet approx. 45 x 35 cm, Provenance: Georg Brühl Collection, Chemnitz, collection stamp, Anatoli Kaplan was a Russian-Jewish painter, sculptor and graphic artist, 1922-27 studied at the Art Academy in Petrograd, later Leningrad became his home, id 1930s work in a Group of artists on the "Autonomous Jewish Republic" in the extreme east of Russia, 1946 the portfolio "Leningrad in the days of the blockade" appeared, from 1953 among other things illustrations on Jewish literature, 1995 retrospective in the Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg
