Oil/canvas, "Alte Lauben und Markt zu Chemnitz", titled on the reverse, lively market scene from old Chemnitz with rich staffage, signed lower right, original frame, approx. 46 x 41 cm, with frame approx. 57 x 53 cm, 1920s Years. The well-known Chemnitz artist was a leading member of the "Chemnitz Artists' Group" and impressively captured the Chemnitz cityscape of the first third of the last century in his pictures.
