Oil/canvas, verso titled "Winter afternoon - market and town hall with carillon", representation of the market square in Chemnitz, lively, colorful wintry town scenery with busy market square, signed lower left and name of place Chemnitz, framing from the time, approx. 57 x 97 cm, with frame approx. 68 x 107 cm. The well-known Chemnitz artist was a leading member of the "Chemnitz Artists' Group" and impressively captured the Chemnitz cityscape of the first third of the last century in his pictures.
