Woodcut in black and yellow, pair, signed in pencil lower right, behind passe-partout, sheet section approx. 23 x 18 cm, with passe-partout approx. 40 x 30 cm, 1941 student of Alfred particles at the art academy in Königsberg, 1946-50 studies at the Weimar HS, influenced by Max Pechstein, Erich Heckel and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, among others, from 1950 master student with Otto Herbig, then lecturer for color design and life drawing at the Weimar HS, from 1954 he worked as a freelance painter and graphic artist in his hometown of Gersdorf, numerous Honours, prizes and exhibitions in Saxony and beyond
