Oil/canvas, portrait of a girl, blonde curly haired girl sitting in front of a mirror, signed top right, magnificent gold frame, approx. 75 x 56 cm, with frame approx. 97 x 78 cm, Hempfing was a master student of Friedrich Fehr, he undertook study trips to Holland, Italy, Paris and in Brittany, since 1911 he was represented in the Glaspalast in Munich, in 1912 in Hanover, Baden-Baden, at the Great Art Exhibition in Berlin, in 1913 in the Künstlerhaus in Vienna and in 1914 in the Kunsthaus in Zurich.
