Manufacturer: Lorenz Hutschenreuther, Selb (art department mark), 2 gray horses running wild, discreetly underglaze decorated, elaborately formed group of horses based on the design by Max Daniel Hermann Fritz 1930, 1 ear slightly damaged, H approx. 27 cm, L approx. 39 cm , post-war model. In addition to his large-scale sculptural work, the sculptor and medalist Max Hermann Fritz (1873-1948) formed models for various porcelain manufacturers, including Meissen, Rosenthal, Fraureuth and Lichte. For the Hutschenreuther art department, Fritz delivered over 50 models with a clear preference for groups of animals.
