Meissen manufactory, swords underglaze blue, 1st choice, for 6 people, design by Paul Börner, simple, reserved design, only the J-shaped handles are decorated with leaf, coin ribbon and palmette reliefs, the base is glazed in light lemon yellow, consisting of: teapot, Sugar bowl, 2 cream jugs, 6 cake plates, 3 dessert plates, 6 cups and 7 saucers, plus a king cake platter and a round cake bowl, the rim of the teapot is slightly damaged, otherwise in good condition, rarely formed, simply decorated Art Deco service from the mid-1930s. Contrary to the constant efforts of the Meissner manufactory to provide the porcelain with an elaborate painting, there were a few forms in Art Deco where the shape alone is decisive. The service with its yellow and white surface is therefore an extremely rare product from the Meissner manufactory.
