Editions of the paper theaters with 6 or 7 old-colored copper engravings by Martin Engelbrecht, 3 of them with the title page applied to the paper cover, ibid. illustrated and numbered and titled: "5. Perspective presentation of a yearly market or church fair.", "10. Perspective presentation an assembly in a beautiful hall.", "2. Perspective presentation of a wild boar hunt." additionally titled twice by hand in ink on the cover "4. Perspective presentation of a fencing hall.", "7. Perspective presentation of a cannonade.", contains 6 or 1 x 7 sheets each with staggered scenarios, which were elaborately cut out and coloured, all sheets therefore trimmed, each mounted on cardboard, each with signs of age (e.g. browned, foxing, partly with minor creases, cover partly damaged), sheets each approx. 9 x 14.5, with cover approx. 10.5 x 17 cm, Engelbrecht is regarded as the inventor of these miniature dioramas. In addition to large-format peep-box pictures, he developed the idea of reducing the pictures and selling them privately, thereby producing the earliest examples of paper theater
