Oil/hardboard, piece of flowers, four sunflowers in front of a blue sky, narrow framing, slight signs of age, approx. 70 x 50 cm, with frame approx. 85 x 65 cm, the artist first received graphic lessons from her father, a lithographer, then studied at the Hanau Art Academy in the areas of pattern and lettering, flower painting and drawing and copying of landscapes, 1900-03 worked in Frankfurt as a draftsman, 1908 moved to Dresden, took lessons there with Georg Gelbke and Willy Kriegel in Dresden, from 1935 worked in Chemnitz , represented at art exhibitions in Dresden, Stuttgart, Munich, Leipzig, Frankfurt/Main and Chemnitz since the 1920s, active in paintings, graphics, book illustrations and porcelain painting, known as "Flower Minni".
