Lithograph, view of Berlin, view along the Spree over the city, in the original passe-partout, ibid. signed in lead lower right, slight signs of age (including evenly browned), sheet approx. 24 x 32.5 cm, 1908-12 training at the Straßburger Kunstgewerbeschule, 1912-15 pupil of Emil Orlik and Emil Rudolf Weiß, from 1921 member of Herwarth Walden's Sturm-Galerie, member of the group "The Abstracts" (later "The Contemporary Ones"), which joined the "Asso", 1945-51 Professor at the HfBK Berlin-Charlottenburg, 1947-49 publication of the "Zeitschrift Bildende Kunst" with Karl Hofer, from 1955-58 professor at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee
