Business card tray, brass, cast and polished, underside with recessed artist's signet, curved shape, slightly concave, rising edge in whiplash ornamentation, approx. 15 x 11.5 x 2 cm, already shown in 1899 at the Secession exhibition in Munich, the shape of the business card tray is known in this form and in a slightly modified form, cf. Wolf D. Pecher: "Henry van de Velde, Gesamtwerk" Vol. 1, Munich 1981
