Lot 4051 limit € 1.800

Meissen manufactory, swords in underglaze blue, transverse sections, model by Walter Schott 1897, young lady in antique robes, throwing a golden ball, stepped round base, tree support with climbing ivy, polychrome painted, gold equipped, base, right arm and foliage restored in high quality, model no. Q 180, H approx. 28 cm, pommel swords, model from the original period around 1897 or subsequent years, the sculptor and painter Walter Schott (1861-1938) studied at the Art Academy in Berlin and worked as a professor from 1903 ibid. In addition to the Meissner manufactory, he also supplied figure models to KPM Berlin and Rosenthal, among others.
