Etching, abstract composition, signed in lead on the right under the print and limited on the left, titled 15 on the reverse and dated 1953 on the reverse, as an annual gift from Kettner-Ges. Signed 1956, framed behind glass in a white wooden strip, slightly browned, slightly light-stained, sheet section approx. 49 x 59 cm, with frame approx. 62 x 52 cm, Hartung studied at the academies in Leipzig, Dresden and Munich, from 1927 frequent stays in Paris , 1935 moved to France, 1977 elected member of the Institut de France, Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris and member of the Order Pour Le Merite for science and art in Bonn, 1982 inauguration of a Hartung Hall in the State Gallery of Modern Art in Munich
