Etching after the original, viaduct, bottom left inscribed Schwimmer, sheet used as a New Year's greeting from the Dresden University of Transport, elaborately framed behind a linen passe-partout and glass in a wooden strip (minor damage), sheet section approx. 15 x 20.5 cm, with frame approx. 31 x 38.5 cm, after training as a teacher and studying art history and philosophy in Leipzig, established himself in the Leipzig artist and cabaret scene, taught at the Leipzig School of Applied Arts until 1933, parts of his works defamed as degenerate, from 1946 professorship at the HGB Leipzig, from 1951 head of the graphics department at the HS Dresden Viaduct, used as a New Year's greeting at the Dresden Transport University
